School Board Work Session

Eric FormanstaffSo if you, this is one of those projects that has kept coming back and back and back. If you follow city council meetings, you've probably seen this come up to city council a half dozen times or so. This is the Davies property, which is, it's a two-acre property that now contains a big old White House. It's right across from Judicial Drive on Chambered Road. There have been a number of proposals for this site, and in July, City Council did approve this one. So it's 276 apartments. Again, pretty standard ratio of unit mix and 6% of affordable units. So I would project about the same thing.

Right, so currently there's 500 apartments in that complex, so this would add 300 to this. Now this one to the right is called Christopher at Fairfax. This, I have it listed as potential may have actually filed it this week. They seem intent on doing so, so if they haven't done it, they probably will in the next few weeks. This is a developer who is assembling a bunch of properties along Chainbridge Road, just south of Old Town, kind of across Chainbridge Road from the County Board House complex. So if you can picture where that Davies property is these are the next properties down right now it's a 257 apartment unit so I'd say again that's assuming that they're you know a typical mix and again
