Planning Commission Regular Meeting/Work Session

Paul Naptystaffthank you terrified members of the planning commission I hope everybody had a good August recess going back to the last City Council meeting before the August recess on July 28th City Council held a public hearing ordinance amendments related to detached accessory dwelling units and approved those. Those were reviewed and approved or recommended for approval by the Planning Commission on June 22nd. They also held a pre-application briefing for the proposal at 3541 Chainbridge Road. The Planning Commission received on June 22nd and a work session, a post-application work session on Courthouse Plaza. Also the Planning Commission received on June 22nd. at their first work session in September September 1st the City Council had pre-application briefings

James Featherno comment and from my perspective and I also want to acknowledge mr. Kricarji's departure and his contributions the short time he was with us. He told me he's off to North Carolina for career change. The Board of Architectural Review actually meets this week. The way the meetings line up, they happen to be the same week as Planning Commission, so we'll be attending that. And that's two public hearings on the docket. One is for repainting of the Lehigh Motel, the one that got painted purple and white. They're coming back with a proposal to change that. And the second is public hearing for the courthouse plaza design. There have been some changes to the architecture of that since we last saw it. So I'll report on that when
