City Council Meeting

Rachel McQuillenhi yes thank you um i would like to take a moment to thank all the residents who have reached out regarding the Pickett Road Connector Trail and the gun ordinance. As Council Member Peterson has mentioned, we did receive a lot of email and outreach from the public, so we appreciate you taking the time to speak up. I would also like to express my appreciation to the city staff, Parks and Recreation, Old Town Business Association, Fairfax Central Chamber of Commerce, all the volunteers and everyone who helped make our Independence Day celebration a success. It's just a phenomenal event. I look forward to it every year. It's a strong reflection of the pride and the unity we have here in our community. I also want to acknowledge and recognize the recent passing of Officer Carroll.
