Alexanderstaffquickly And I've spoken to each one of you about this as far as the January retreat follow-up and where we are with strategic plan, performance management, and efficiency. The plan is to move forward with the proposal that we've received to do all three. We would like to sequence it in a manner where we get efficiency done initially. I think that was a council priority. It has been, I think, from the beginning of the fiscal year. I know you've all been waiting for that. so as to move forward in earnest with that. Right behind that would be performance management, largely focused on operational day-to-day, more tactical and less strategic in focus, but certainly looking at metrics around how we're succeeding day in and day out
in terms of service provision, and then following that, laying the groundwork towards the end of the year on strategic planning and doing a lot of the data collection, community engagement around that, moving the actual implementation, as far as goals, objectives, and activities into the next calendar year. And so that's how we're proposing that we sequence that work. Just wanted to make sure that we had final understanding of that before we move forward. And if that is the case, we're going to start work tomorrow on getting the efficiency study going.
