FY 2024 Fund Reappropriation
Summary
The FY 2024 Fund Reappropriation is an annual municipal process by which unspent or uncommitted fund balances — covering general/operating, capital, and enterprise funds — are carried forward from the prior fiscal year into the current one. The relevant balances were measured as of June 30, 2024 (the close of FY 2024). The City Council first discussed the matter at a Work Session on September 3, 2024, with no formal action taken at that time. On September 24, 2024, the Council held a public hearing (which drew no public testimony) and unanimously approved Resolution R-24-29, formally reappropriating the unspent FY 2024 funds into FY 2025.
