Hadestown
Hadestown is a musical production staged by Fairfax High School (City of Fairfax Schools).
As of early April 2025, the production was being promoted ahead of its opening on April 25th, with notable production elements described as new even by Fairfax High School's standards (e.g., swinging lights over the stage). The show was recognized as a record seller for a play at Fairfax, drawing praise from multiple School Board members at the May 5, 2025 meeting during Board Matters (Agenda Item 6). By the June 3, 2025 School Board meeting, the student representative confirmed the production had fully wrapped up as part of the school's end-of-year music and theater events.
