    On April 2nd, the federal SPROUT grant — a $1 million, five-year urban forestry program — was withdrawn by the U.S. Forest Service following a White House Executive Order titled 'Unleashing American Energy,' ending the Stewardship Coordinator position immediately (funded by CIP money through June 30, 2025). Rusty Russell asked PRAB to consider writing a letter of support to continue the position through FY-26.
