Pre-Application Briefing – Potential Redevelopment of Northfax West (Phase IV), 3570 Chain Bridge Road
1:48:40Stacy Hallokay so that's not at all the retail I was thinking of there be honest again I live in back in that community we have a ton of single-family homes we have the townhouses at the assembly I mean all of these people are looking for something that is walkable and that corner there I do think I understand that the challenges of the parking and getting in and out, but I do think that that is kind of ripe for some sort of retail development. I think the live workplaces, like been there, tried that when it comes to Paul VI, it didn't quite pan out. I don't know. To me, that's not an attractive type of retail in the city. So that's just my two cents on that one. One of the other things I'm really questioning, I won't say concerned because I don't know enough to be concerned or not, but
Pre-Application Briefing – Concept Plan of Mosby Building, 10560 Main Street
2:27:30Bob Brandtapplicantno thank you thank you for the comments I'll just briefly touch on them because I think council member Amos brought some of them up as well the concept of the live-work unit You're right. And as Clara mentioned, there's only been one project in the city that really proposed those, Paul VI, and they really haven't come to fruition. We heard some of those questions from the Planning Commission. We've heard some of that feedback. Again, one thing that I think makes this concept, this building unique, is that if you walk down the hallways, you can actually peek into some of the spaces. There's a couple doors that have transparent glass, and I walk through the building, and I kind of poke my head in.
