Future Meeting Topics
2:44Alexanderstaffyou mayor council moving along looking at the next item we will talk again we've covered some of these but we're going to talk again about FY 2026 carryovers into FY 2027. We have a resolution authorizing the manager to sign an FY 27 agreement with the city and DRPT for Q operating and capital assistance. We have a public hearing scheduled later on for an applicant for an SUP pursuant to the code to allow daycare for 5 to 12 children under the care on premises coming up. And then at the end of that regular meeting, we have a public hearing on our code of ethics. I know there may have been some questions and be happy to entertain any questions on the special use permit, if anyone has any that they would like to share.
Stacy HallThank you. There are two areas, I guess, of questions with regard to the special use permit for the daycares. I know the last two ones that came before this body, we were able to roll the hours back and the kids could be outside from 9 a.m. to 8 a.m. And I think there was discussion with our city attorney about seeing what could be done to make that more of a global change. And in light of this one coming up, I wanted to see if that had been done. And if not, if that was included in this current application as an automatic option. and then secondly I know that there had been some discussion about expediting the process for daycares and whatnot but I also know that that was not a global council decision to move forward with that so I would like to bring that up
Anthony AmosJust for clarification, zoning staff is already working on specifically related to the special use permits for home daycares. Is that correct?
