    Continue to Review Draft Policies and Procedures · The team reviewed the draft Housing Trust Fund policies and procedures. Several open policy and implementation questions were identified for discussion at upcoming meetings with the City Manager's Office and HHCAB. Recommendations were made for the June 1 HHCAB presentation and the July 14 Council presentation.
    • Housing Trust Fundin progressDraft guidelines and application were shared with Human Services, Community Development & Planning, Economic Development, the Development Ombudsman, and Virginia Housing. A meeting was scheduled with the City Manager, Attorney, Assistant City Managers, and Director of Community Development & Planning to review the draft before it is presented to Council.
    • Minimum scoring thresholdThe concept of establishing a minimum application score was discussed; it was noted that Virginia DHCD uses a minimum threshold score of 60, and the existing Scoring Tool should be evaluated as a potential basis for a local threshold.
