Carolyn PitchesOkay, next we have our Arbor Day Poetry Contest winners. I'd like to invite Emerson Harvey from Daniels Run Elementary School, Eileen Johanna Camacho-Ortiz from Providence Elementary School, Clara Cofford from Catherine Johnson Middle School, Valentina A from Fairfax High School and Ms. Alam to come forward and read your the poems and we will present them with a certificate and an award. Welcome.
Studentactivities and final exams are beginning to ramp up across all levels as well. At Katherine Johnson Middle School students are completing SOL testing with teachers and review sessions. Clubs and extracurricular activities are finishing final projects and wrapping up the school year. Counselors are assisting students with course planning and transition activities for next year. At Daniels Run Elementary School students are participating in final assessments and review activities and reading and math. Field trips and class celebrations are helping mark the end of the year and end of the year performances and classroom showcases are taking place across grade levels. At Providence Elementary School students are engaged in end of the year learning
