Transportation Project Update.

26:15

Nick SoucyI think the highlight on this would be that on all three ends of the project, if you will, the north side terminus on Rust, the south, as well as the east at the end of Westmore, we are connecting to existing sidewalk facilities at each of those points. This really is a project to fill in the missing sidewalk gaps and provide the connections up to the Walmart Shopping Center and Fairfax Shopping Center along Rust. Okay. Burke Station Road is the next one. This one is similar to Russ Westmore and that was previously approved in the two-year transportation program to go into this concept development phase. Similar in that this project is looking to connect or fill in the existing sidewalk gaps

Wendy SanfordstaffStreet between Main Street and Willow Terrace it will connect to existing sidewalks north and south of the project it will be replacing that ditch that you can see in that lower picture that's exactly where the sidewalk will go and it will also tie into the planned improvements on first and second streets which I will talk about as the next project the project where it's been this is very brief overview it started back in 2021 in the two-year transportation program moved through funding application design and and here we are now this project shows what this will look like it is a five-foot sidewalk with a buffer strip and then again it really stretches just it's a missing link of sidewalk on that stretch of oak street on the west side this is a rendering that's been put
