Melanie Zippstaffso why do we project out five years the cfo and the finance team work hard to level out the total dollars needed through the five years of this of the proposed cip within each project and across all projects to ensure we're not top heavy one year over another and if we are we have an explanation as to why this is why it's so important to ask those questions in the evaluation portion of the building the evaluation portion of building the cip regarding phasing projects priorities where additional funding can come from and when it will arrive the total cip request for fy 27 to 31 program is 636.7 million dollars almost 449 million of that comes from the general fund the reason for the increase over the fy 26 to 30
