   [11b] The Council discussed a possible increase in compensation for the Mayor and Councilmembers. Current City Code sets Mayor salary at $13,000 and Councilmember salary at $12,000, against state maximums of $24,000 and $22,000 respectively. Council reached consensus for a follow-up work session on May 12, 2026.
