MSAOC
The Minority Student Achievement Oversight Committee (MSAOC) is a Fairfax County Public Schools community advisory committee to which the City of Fairfax School Board appoints a city resident representative.
The City of Fairfax School Board added MSAOC in 2021 as one of the advisory committees receiving a city-appointed member. The representative serves annual terms aligned with the fiscal year. Juliana Nelson was appointed as the City's MSAOC representative for FY2024/25 (approved July 1, 2024) and again for FY2025/26 (approved July 1, 2025).
She also presented the MSAOC end-of-year report to the School Board at the May 19, 2025 Work Session. For FY2026/27, Koshal Patibandla was appointed as the City's MSAOC representative (approved July 1, 2026). All appointments have been made as part of broader unanimous Annual School Board Organization votes.
