On May 13, 2025, Council unanimously approved Resolution R-25-08, endorsing the submission of a Transportation Alternatives Program (TAP) application to VDOT for FY2027 funding for the Norman Avenue Sidewalk Project, with $625,000 in commercial and industrial funding designated as the local match.
The Norman Avenue project is distinct from the other projects submitted under the concurrent Revenue Sharing application (R-25-09).
