VDOT Revenue Sharing Funding
The Norman Avenue Sidewalk Feasibility Study is an ongoing city project to evaluate the feasibility of constructing a sidewalk along Norman Avenue. As of February 18, 2025, the project was in its early stages: Transportation Director Wendy Sanford presented an overview to City Council during a work session, alongside consultant Megan Waring (engineer, Kimley-Horn), covering existing conditions, evaluation criteria, and a public engagement plan.
