The Davies Property project is a proposed mixed-use redevelopment of 4131 Chain Bridge Road (a 2.69-acre site currently containing a large vacant house) by The Hill, A Davies Family, LLC. The application sought to rezone the parcel from RM (Residential Medium) to CU (Commercial Urban), retaining the Old Town Fairfax Transition Overlay District (TOD), with a General Development Plan for up to 276 multifamily apartments and approximately 10,796 sq ft of ground-floor commercial space, served by a 3-level below-grade parking garage.

At the April 22, 2025 City Council Work Session and Regular Meeting, the item was pulled from the consent agenda for discussion before being approved unanimously 6-0, authorizing the purchasing agent to award a construction contract to Sagres Construction Corporation in the estimated amount of $4,117,611. The contract award was subsequently reported to the Planning Commission at its May 12, 2025 regular meeting as part of a staff update on recent City Council actions. The project is now in the contract award stage, with construction to be carried out by Sagres Construction Corporation.
