- Old Townin progress
As PRAB's Planning Commission stakeholder representative, Rice reported in February 2026 on the Planning Commission's designation of Old Town as one of five activity centers for zoning review, and in June 2026 reported on the Commission's review of the Gallery at City Center submission and the small area plan work session held on June 8th.
- Old Town Hallin progress
As Planning Commission liaison to PRAB, Rice reported in March 2026 (via transcript) that he attended the February 12, 2026 PRAB meeting and noted progress on Old Town Hall with a tentative August-to-September opening penciled in, adding he lacked sufficient schedule detail at that time. In July 2026, Rice reported to the Planning Commission that most of the renovation work is largely complete but that second-floor window rebuilding is a specialty item being handled by a craftsman in Ohio who does not rush his work, and as of September 2026 he noted no public announcement about Old Town Hall's opening had yet been made.
At the February 12, 2026 PRAB meeting, Rice reported on Planning Commission activity including the designation of Kamp Washington as one of five activity centers requiring special attention and zoning review for mixed-use development.
