Move Fairfax
Pickett Road Connector Trail
The Pickett Road Connector Trail is a City of Fairfax trail project with a $6.5 million funding allocation, currently in design. The project drew public opposition as early as January 2025, and in April 2025 the Council voted to pause it twice: first on April 8 (3-2, pausing expenditures until after the April 22 Work Session), then on April 22 (4-2, pausing all actions to examine alternatives).
